Caramel
Prepare time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 15 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
120 ml cream
80 gr butter
200 gr sugar
A pinch of salt
INSTRUCTIONS:
Melt and caramelize sugar in a skillet over medium heat. Do not stir until small bubbles begin to appear. Once it starts caramelizing you can stir before adding butter.
Once sugar is totally dissolved and caramelized add the butter and salt then stir frequently.
When the butter is incorporated pour the cream into the mixture and keep whisking about a minute.
You can use it for up to a week by storing in the fridge. Before serving, it needs to be heated.
