Caramel

Prepare time: 10 minutes

Cook time: 15 minutes


INGREDIENTS:

  • 120 ml cream

  • 80 gr butter

  • 200 gr sugar

  • A pinch of salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Melt and caramelize sugar in a skillet over medium heat. Do not stir until small bubbles begin to appear. Once it starts caramelizing you can stir before adding butter.

  • Once sugar is totally dissolved and caramelized add the butter and salt then stir frequently.

  • When the butter is incorporated pour the cream into the mixture and keep whisking about a minute.

  • You can use it for up to a week by storing in the fridge. Before serving, it needs to be heated.
