Brownies

For the best brownie, you have a few tips:

  • Measure the amount of flour correctly to reach nice texture. The best way is to use a scale.

  • Do not over bake your brownie. When the center of your brownie is set and the top begins to crack, it means it is done.

  • Preferably, add some walnuts to give a crunchy taste, which I love…


Prep time: 20 minutes

Bake time: 30 minutes


INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 eggs at room temperature.

  • 150 gr. sugar

  • 140 gr butter

  • 120 gr flour

  • 250 gr dark chocolate (or dark&milk mixed)

  • 100 gr white chocolate

  • 15 gr. cacao

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • A pinch of salt.

  • 100 gr. chopped walnuts


INSTRUCTONS:

  • Preheat oven to 160C (320F).

  • Spread bottom and edge of the baking dish (20 cm/8”) with some butter and line a parchment.

  • Melt the dark chocolate by bain marie method.

  • On the other hand melt the butter.

  • After cooling the melted butter pour into the melted chocolate. Blend them until combined.

  • Whisk well three eggs with sugar into the mixing bowl and pour the vanilla extract.

  • Pour the chocolate & butter mixture into the eggs mixture slowly.

  • Add sifted flour, cacao and salt.

  • Stir the mixture together until just incorporated.

  • Add chopped white chocolate, walnuts and just fold the batter by using a spatula.

  • Transfer the batter to the parchment-lined baking dish

  • Bake for about 30 minutes.

  • You can add some melted or chopped chocolate to the top of your brownie, it is your choice.
